Supporting couples to have open and trusting relationships ....
Just as with our parenting (if we have children), much of what we learnt about how to be in relationship we picked up from watching and absorbing behaviours from our own parents or whoever helped raise us. Have you ever been surprised how your behaviours are so similar to how your parents are or were together?
I will help you to develop your skills in listening to each other so you get a better understanding of the others perspective and some of the reasons why you respond to each other the way you do. I will provide you with tools to help you communicate better allowing you to form a more meaningful, closer and open relationship with one another.
We had our first session with Ben after some serious relationship issues. With the birth of our son and other developments it became clear to us that we needed external help. Only a handful of sessions made all the difference for us. It wasn't so much that Ben had solved all our issues, but he provided us with the communication tools needed to tackle them ourselves. He created a comfortable and safe environment for both of us to express ourselves while guiding us throughout our sessions. It is a shame that for most of us it takes a crisis first to seek help, when a couple of sessions with Ben can make life as a couple so much more rewarding - Julian
Face to face
With face to face coaching, we meet at in a therapy practice room in north London where you will have the opportunity to receive one on one support and input with anything that you want.
If you're comfortable using Skype, then this is a great way to work to get coaching at times that work for you in the comfort of your own home or wherever works for you. Making sure you're not going to be interrupted is always useful and I always prefer, wherever possible, to initially meet face to face.
